gaze at wherever you can see god

I have been writing a lot about Leonid Anisimov.

It is restful to be around a fully-realized human. Who is, yet, still growing. The message is, I did it my way. You must do it your way. It is so wondrous to be oneself.

I think the key is, to gaze at wherever you can see god.

When it came my turn last night, I sat forward. "I know a song we could all sing," I said. Leonid laughed. "Rachel never wants to do it alone. She always wants everyone to do it with her." I ended up singing Amazing Grace, with the opera singer on melody, me on harmony, and the blues guy clapping percussion.

I thought about Leonid's comment. My first thought was, It's no fun alone. My second was, It's not as good alone.
